Rob Mulholland Bowls
Artist Rob Mulholland, a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art has created this distinctive collection of craftworks
These unique bowls are hand made by spinning flat sheets of metal to form a concave shape and burnishing the surface. The colour and patterns are achieved by heating the surface of the metal with a propane tourch which alters the crystal structure and creates the colour. In essence the torch replaces the brush to draw out the various hues locked within the metal. They are then coated to seal in the colours, producing a one off art piece.
- Small Bowls are approx 25cm diameter and 8cm in height
- Large Bowls are approx 31cm diameter and are 12cm in height
- XL Bowl is 38cm diameter but is shallower than the large bowl at 9cm
